From Milliken Garden catalog, 1932: SITKA (Essig, 1932). The third splendid white offered this year is a huge flower of good form and substance which has been splendid in the garden and in show displays. It has proved to be an exceptionally prolific bloomer and is hardy throughout the country. It lasts longer than any other white in the garden. $5.00
From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1938: SITKA (Essig 1932) Large flowers of clear white with exceptionally good shape and substance; late blooming. 40 in. $1.00
