'Silver Trumpets' (Lloyd Zurbrigg, R. 2000). Seedling# PP 56 W.P. TB, 36" (91 cm), Late midseason bloom. White self; beards red orange with very large white flounce. Seedling# NN 32-2-3: 'Baby's Nook' sibling X 'Mesmerizer'. Friendship 2003. Honorable Mention 2005. Novelty.

From AIS Bulletin #329 April 2003 Introducing SILVER TRUMPETS (Zurbrigg '03) Here is a stately silver-white iris with huge, well-formed trumpets. Red-orange beards are largely hidden by large flounces. Everything about this iris is A-1. $35.00. Friendship Gardens.
