'Secretary' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2006). Seedling# T94A. TB, height 40" (102 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards light butter yellow ground, nearly solid mulberry rose plicata; style arms mulberry rose, touched buff yellow on sides; falls light buff-white ground, deep mulberry rose edge, deeper haft and dart at end of tangerine beard; sweet fragrance. 'Master Plan' X 'I've Got Rhythm'. Mid-America 2006. Honorable Mention 2009.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: SECRETARY - TB, 40" (102 cm), Early-Midseason. Secretary is a very pretty garden subject with plenty of smaller flowers on tall, well-branched stalks. Ruffled standards are butter solidly washed mulberry rose except for dotting around ribs. Ruffled, creamy yellow falls are paler around tangerine beards and decorated with narrow, darker mulberry-rose plicata bands. Show stalks emerge from tall, dark green foliage.
