'Secret Chord' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2023) Seedling TK211ZZ, TB, 35" (89 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards blend of gold and maroon, more gold edges; style arms gold and maroon; falls white ground, deep maroon black band, hafts and dart below beard; beards deep maroon, old gold tips; sweet fragrance lightly laced. Seedling TH141A:(seedling TD314ZZ, 'Photo Shoot' pollen parent x seedling TD86ZZ, 'Aces Wild' pollen parent) X seedling TG81YY:(seedling TC175F:(seedling TY114AA:(seedling TI34D:('Silk Road' x 'Epicenter') x 'Dancing in the Dark' pollen parent) x seedling TY43AA, 'Midnight Velvet' pollen parent) x 'Reckless Abandon'). Mid-America Garden 2023.
