From Muhlestein catalog, 1946: SEA LARK (Brunhilde x Sable) 45-56. Blue-violet self with a large even flush of purple in center of both standards and falls. We have seen nothing like it. The flower has delightful form and character. Height 38 inches. Branching excellent. $35.00
From Carl Salbach catalog 1950: SEA LARK (Muhlestein). Large, clear, slate blue, with a flush of purple in the center of both standards and falls. Distinct, blue beard. A splendid new blue. Mid-season. 30". $5.00; 3 for $12.SO.
