'Sapphire Waves' (Ginny Spoon, R. 2014) Seedling# 2008-G8-SP. TB, 34" (86 cm), Late to very late bloom. Standards violet-blue (RHS 93A/B/C), darkest on edges; style arms with darker (93A) midribs, lightest (93A) at base, laced crests; falls same as standards, lightest around beards, darker veins, smooth without haft marks; beards light lavender-blue, yellow-orange (14A) deep in throat; closed and domed standards; horizontally flared and wide touching falls; very ruffled and fluted even in hafts; pleasant sweet fragrance. Seedling# 2004-120SP: ('Lilla Alberta' x 'Uncle Charlie') X 'Home Sweet Home'. Winterberry Iris Gardens 2015.
