'Ruffled Elegance' (R. M. White, R. 1952). TB, 43" (109 cm), Late midseason bloom. Color Class-RV5, Rosy violet blend of petunia-violet (Ridgway) and Chinese violet, margins of both standards and falls darker. 'Easter Bonnet' X 'Remember Me'. Iris Test Gdn 1955.

From Iris Test Garden Catalog, 1955: RUFFLED ELEGANCE. (R. M. White). Tall bearded; 38 inches high; late midseason bloom. Standards Petunia Violet; falls Chinese Violet; margins on both darker. Effect is rosy violet blend. Parentage is Easter Bonnet x Remember Me. Large flower, well branched and a star in any Iris Garden. Stock is scarce; one to a customer. $20.00
