2009, Blyth

'Royal Harlequin' (Barry Blyth, R. 2009). Seedling# P141-A. TB, 36” (91 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards beige to buff; falls lilac overlaid rose brown, more lilac at edge; beards muted gold; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling# N196-2, 'Crystal Rhapsody' sibling X 'Just Crazy'. Tempo Two 2009/10.

Hybridizer's Comment: Standards are pastel beige to buff. Falls are lilac with a reddish-brown overlay preading over most of the area but allowing the lilac to show through around the edge. There is a small pretty spray pattern around the beards which are muted gold. Extremely wide overlapping falls. Nice branching. Sweet perfume and a fertile parent.
