From Movilla Gardens catalog, 1921: RODNEY. (Bliss 1919.) S. and F. self violet-blue. Large flower of fine form. Strong grower and very free-flowering. 39 inches.
 
From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: RODNEY (Bliss 1919) 8.3. A free-flowering Pallida of uniform Dauphin's violet, smooth texture and fine shape. A vigorous grower. 40 inches. 50 cts. each; $1.25- for 3; $4.00 per doz.
