From Knopf Iris Gardens catalog, 1967: ROCK MOUNTAIN: Sdlg. No. 64-23 TS 36" M-L Season. Color Design x Beauty Queen. Large Heliotrope self with a buff colored beard. Extremely ruffled. If you have seen the rocky mountains in the evening with the sun setting on the blue-gray rocks, you will know why we call this Rock Mountain. A superb iris on well branched strong and well proportioned stalks. Fertile both ways. Excellent substance and texture. Net $25.00
