RIPPLING ROSE (Gibson, '70) M. 36" Each $20.00. Imagine a Rococo or Stepping Out with broadly banded falls of rose-purple, instead of the blue-to-violet trim on those two worthy and popular varieties, and you will have Rippling Rose. The heavily ruffled and fluted blossoms are ivory white in the central area of the falls; the standards are basically white but shaded and mottled with the same rose-purple which borders the falls. Superb branching, on heavy stems. No. 140-4C. [Cooley's Iris, 1970]
