'Rebecca Betrothed' (Bernice Miller, R. 1977) TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled and lightly laced mid-lilac with paler area under white beard and brown influence at hafts. 'Amethyst Flame' X 'Mulberry Wine'. B Miller 1978.

From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing REBECCA BETROTHED (B. Miller). TB, 36", M. Enchanting as a young maiden's dream of love. She wears a gown the color of country lilacs. Wide falls, heavily ruffled, horizontally flared, paler in center, brown at hafts. Entire flower diamond dusted. Crisply rounded, bubbly, tightly closed standards. 4 branches and terminal. Vigorous plant. Fertility untested. Has pollen. White beard. Amethyst Flame X Mulberry Wine. $25.00. Bernice Miller.
