From Easy Breeze Gardens catalog, 1956: REAL GOLD (Austin '51) 24". From Golden Majesty X Capitola, this hybrid is said to be the nearest to real gold yet produced. The standards are glistening gold-buff. Falls deep gold-buff, with soft brown veins and golden bronze beard. $6.00.
From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: REAL GOLD (Austin 1951) E. M. 34 in. (Golden Majesty x Capitola). A new oncobred of great beauty. The large flowers carry the usual onco form and styling. Standards are glistening golden buff and the falls are deep golden buff, with a network of soft brown veins. 6.00.
