From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2014: READY FOR MY CLOSEUP (Black ‘14) TB Early-Midseason 35” (89cm). ‘Ready For My Closeup’ has been a favorite since it first bloomed. Heavily ruffled and laced flowers are near perfection of form. Red color over parts of the flower is enough to keep one working to spread that color over the entire flower. Rose claret standards blend to rose mauve margins. Mid fuchsia fall centers blend to wide ruby redbands and hafts. Heavily saturated dark burnt orange beards amplify the red appearance.
