From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1947: RARE MARBLE 44-151 Muhlestein (Bonanza x Tiffany) The brightest yellow-ground red-trimmed plicata we have grown. The markings are deftly put on, so the yellow color shows up well. If you like 'Firecracker' you will go for Rare Marble. Not tall or large, but a real one for show. Midseason to late. Height 30 inches. $10.00 each. |
