From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1968: RADIANT BRIDE (Tompkins 1968) M.VL. 39 in. (Poet's Dream x Galilee) x Cloud Country. This lovely new white has been a great favorite in our garden the past two seasons. It is large, exquisitely formed and the thick, icy white, delicately fluted and ruffled petals have a glittering satiny finish. This is a very good grower with tall superbly branched stalks that show three to four blooms at once to perfection. A stately, gracious Iris that seems to draw all eyes with what can only be described as its look of pure radiant freshness. It has the added attribute of having a great many buds to each terminal so that even though it begins to bloom in midseason it continues until after most other Iris are gone. No. 65-151, Net $25.00 |
