'Queen Dorothy' (Earl Hall, R. 1984). Seedling# 80-69-10S. TB, 29.5" (75 cm), Early to midseason bloom and rebloom. (August - November in Ohio). Standards white with 1/2" mid-violet (RHS 87C) edge; falls white with 3/8" mid-violet (87B) edge; yellow beard tipped white; lightly ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Perfume Counter' X 'Re-Treat'. Hall's Flower Garden 1984. Honorable Mention 1987.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing QUEEN DOROTHY (Earl E. Hall) Sdlg. 80-69-10S. TB, 30", EM & RE (Aug.-Oct.) Lightly ruffled plicata. S. white with Y2" medium violet edging. F. white with 1/2" medium violet edging. 5 to 7 buds, 2 to 3 branches plus spur and terminal. Very good form. Standards closed and falls semi-flaring. I named it for my wife, who is a queen to me. Perfume Counter X Re-Treat. Vigorous grower and fertile both ways. $25.00. Hall's Flower Garden.
