'Prince Charles' (Lloyd Zurbrigg, R. 1959) Seedling# 54-37-A. TB, height 36" (91 cm). Standards reddish tan; falls wine-red, tan hairline border; orange beard. 'Inca Chief' x 'Quechee'. Avonbank 1961.

Description from 1961 Avonbank Iris Gardens catalogue: A ravishing blended bi-colour. In color it has the standards of Inca Chief over the falls of Quechee, its parents. Excellent in all points, forms, substance, texture, color, stalk and placement. Brilliant yet harmonious. 36" in height. $25.00
