From Fleur De Lis catalog, 1956: PORT WINE (Sass 1950) M. L. 37 in. (Aleppo Plains x 62-40:-lmproved Ruth Pollock) x Starless Night. A very beautiful plicata of rich enamel like white with deep, almost solid border of rich purple. One of the most beautiful of all the plicatas. A. M. 1953. 5.00
