From Wing Seed catalog, 1919: PORCELAIN - (Foster.) A late flowering seedling resembling the Pallida-Cengialti varieties, with flowers bluer than Dalmatica. 35c.
From Movilla Gardens catalog, 1921: PORCELAIN. (Foster 1909.) S. and F. a pleasing shade of china-blue. Late.
 
From R. Wallace Co. catalog, 1922: Porcelain (Foster l909). Very free and effective in the border. Continues to flower late into the season. S silvery lavender. F of similar shade but deeper, with very conspicuous bright orange beard, making a rare flash of colour seen from afar. Height medium, flowers not large but very free. C Y. 2/6 each.
