1988, Innerst

'Point Made' (Sterling Innerst, R. 1987). Seedling# 1976-10. TB, 32" (81 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards bronze gold; falls creamy white, trimmed and speckled plum blue black overall; bronze plum beard; slight sweet fragrance. 'Burgundy Brown' X 'Spinning Wheel'. Innerst 1988. High Commendation 1987; Honorable Mention 1990. This iris exhibits PBF(Purple based foliage).

From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing POINT MADE-Sdlg. 1976-10. TB, 32", M-L. Bronzed gold standards. Falls white, trimmed and speckled plum blue-black overall. Each fall speckled in different pattern with black dart under beards. 7 to 9 buds with many stalks per clump. Excellent branching. Wildly vigorous and easy to grow. Wide and ruffled. Fertile both ways. Seen in Phoenix. Burgundy Brown X Spinning Wheel. HC '87. $25.00. Sterling Innerst.
