From AIS Bulletin #220 January 1976 Introducing PLUM GLEAM (1976). TB, E, 38", #32-2B. $25.00. This most vigorous plicata, well branched with ten large blooms, is beautifully formed with the unusual ruffling and fluting. Unusual magenta-rose speckles over a clean cream ground, thinning to almost clear cream at base. The falls have a brilliant 1/4" outer band of magenta-rose around the rim, continuing inward with a like band of speckles, and warm, clean cream color in the center. Parents: BLUEBERRY TRIM X SMOKE RINGS. It is blessed with the form of both. One you won't forget. Gibson's Iris Garden. |
