From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1956: PLEASANT HOURS (Tompkins 1956) E. L. 48 in. ((Hit Parade x Apricot Supreme) x (Pink Tower x Apricot Supreme)). A very tall Iris with excellent branching, even a small clump of this makes a showy planting, as the branching begins low in the clump and all but the terminal branches are rebranched. The flowers are large, heavily substanced and of a rich deep pink infused apricot and brushed with gold at the hafts on each side of the bright red beard. 2.00 |
