Hybridizer's Comment : This begins flowering along with the early Dwarf Iris in mid September. Standards are an opalescent blend of lavender grey with a honey overlay at the midribs and a ¼" edge of honey cream. Falls are golden honey, deepening slightly at hafts. Beards are gold over white. It has show stems but may be too early for most shows. lt has given some lovely seedlings. Sister to 'Venus Bay' and 'Cinderella's Secret'. lt was the very first seedling to flower from 'Adoree'. |
