From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1948: PINK TOWER (Muhlestein) (Golden Eagle x Dr. Loomis SQ72) This is the largest pink iris I have bred to date. It is well branched, about 40 inches tall and the flowers are a clean pale pink self. It is deeper than its parent SQ72 with better form. The falls are wide and downhanging, with a tangerine beard. Very vigorous. Certificate of Commendation 1947. $20.00. |
