References:
From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1948: PINK SALMON (Muhlestein) (Spindrift x Golden Eagle) A rich, clean salmon-pink self. Falls are wide and flare horizontally. About the same height and size as Spindrift, but a clean flower. This has garden value. Many of the pinks are so pale as to have little value from a distance. A tangerine bearded pink I think you will like. Early. $20.00. |
From fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: PINK SALMON (Muhl. 1948) M. 38 in. (Spindrift x Golden Eagle). Large, flaring salmon pink with a very rich tangerine beared. An excellent parent. 1.00. |
