'Pink Magnolia' (Opal Brown, R. 1968) Seedling #6-15A5. TB novelty, 28" (71 cm), Midseason bloom. No standards; falls (6) Orient pink (RHS 36D), deeper veining in heart; beard 41C. #L4E1: (involving pink seedlings) X 'Candleflame'. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens 1970.

From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing PINK MAGNOLIA. $20.00. (0. L. Brown '70) TB. Novelty, Mid 28". Large, clean pale pink with pink veins radiating from the heart and deeper pink beards. Excellent substance aids in retaining the Magnolia form, made up of six falls minus standards. Admired here for the past three seasons by the novice, fancier and arranger. Sdlg. #6-15A5. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
