'Pink Confection' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1951). TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-OR1, True pink self, deep pink beard. ('Salmon Shell' x Dave Hall seedling #44-09, sister to 'Hit Parade') X (Muhlestein seedling #49-11, sister to 'Pink Fulfillment'). Tell 1953.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: PINK CONFECTION (Muhl. 1953) M. L. 40 in. (Sib. to Hit Parade x Pink Formal). This is a very large, broad petaled and nicely ruffled flower of light baby-ribbon pink. The falls are lighter than the standards. While not deep in coloring it is very pink. 4.00.
