'Pillow Talk' (Steve Varner, R. 1974). Seedling# 1144. TB, 38" (97 cm), Late midseason bloom. Laced and ruffled off white/cream; light orange beard. 'Frost And Flame' X Branch seedling# 59-22: ('Lavendula' x 'Lavendula' white seedling). Illini Iris 1975.

From AIS Bulletin #217 April 1975 Introducing PILLOW TALK. Sdlg. 1144, 38", ML. (Frost and Flame X Branch 59-22). This wide, ruffled off-white cream is a large, laced beauty. Light orange beard; great substance; and heavy stalk complete its make-up. HC '74. Net $25.00. Illini Iris.
