1948 original catalog description *PEARLY NAUTILUS (194)3)—A large flower of polest lavender, almost a tinted white, with a'pearly sheen and golden brown throat; it is in the same color class as Moonlight Shadows, but the coloring is warmer and more pleasantly disposed, and it is taller; 3 ft. This is an enchanting subject both for the garden and cutting, and will hold its own on the show table. The stock is extremely limited and not more than one rhizome will be sold to a customer for quite some time 1 , $30.00"
