1973, Brown

'Peach Float' (Opal Brown, R. 1973). Seedling 8-15C14. TB, height 38" (97 cm). Late midseason to late bloom. Standards light peach shrimp (RHS 33D); falls peach shrimp (29D to 33D), trace of yellow at hafts; peach shrimp (33C) beard; ruffled. (Involved pinks x 'Chinese Coral') X 'Flaming Heart'. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens 1973. Hign Commendation 1972 (under seedling 8-15C-14); Honorable Mention 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing PEACH FLOAT (0. L. Brown '73). TB, ML. 38". Closed standards, flared falls and pleasing ruffles all done up in a lovely peachy pink color with deeper beards. The flowers appear to be floating in air. Good branching, 7 to 8 buds. HC '72 under #8-15C14. Net $25.00. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
