From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: PADDED SHOULDERS - TB, 41" (104 cm), Midseason-Late. Harken back to the Joan Crawford days when Padded Shoulders were all the rage. Tightly ruffled standards are white with light peach centers and veins shot into the upper two-thirds. Falls are white with wide apricot-peach hafts that extend halfway down them and are banded several shades lighter. The falls are finished in lots of small, tight ruffles. Bright orange beards help accentuate the colorful hafts. Rapid increase provides numerous stalks with 3 branche sand 7-8 buds. Padded Shoulders is a connsistent favorite with garden visitors and always gets positive reviews. Sdlg. J460C: Tropical Magic X (Blush Of Color x Taunt). $45.00. |
