Standards very pale hyacinth blue, darkening (HCC 40/2) at base; style arms very pale hyacinth blue; falls very pale hyacinth blue, deeper haft veining, yellow green cast around beard; beards hyacinth blue (40/1), faintly yellow in throat, wide; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance.

From AIS Bulletin #313 April 1999 Introducing OSLO (Carl Jorgensen) TB 30" E-M-LA child of Song of Norway, this pale hyacinth blue with pronounced darker blue beards has elicited many comments from our garden visitors. Three candelabra branches plus a terminal carry seven buds.The ruffled blooms have closed standards, flaring falls and are pleasantly fragrant.
