'Orchid Pinstripe' (
Ray Lyons, R. 1988) Seedling# 80-15-5. TB, 28" (71 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards white with orchid shading, veins and 1/2" creped stripe near tip; falls white, delicately veined lavender orchid over all, tiny tuck at midrib; light yellow beard; ruffled and laced.

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing ORCHID PINSTRIPE (Ray Lyons) 28" ML Sdlg. 80-15-5. 5-7 buds. "Different" and "Striking" best describe this iris. It is white, shaded orchid with distinct orchid veins on both standards and falls. A slight tuck graces the tip of each fall at the midline and a narrow band of crepe crosses near the tip of the standards. The standards are up and touch and the falls flare downward.
