From Carl Salbach catalog 1943: ORCHID LADY (Salbach 1943). Large perfectly formed blooms in a lively shade of lilac, the standards being slightly deeper in color than the falls. Standards well cupped and always remain closed. Falls broad, flaring and of heavy substance. Blooms are well spaced on 36" flower stalks. Fine growing habits. One of our best introductions. Late mid-season. $10.00.
