From 1983 Keppel catalog: ORANGERIE (Keppel '83) E. 40. (72-5B: pollen parent of Catalyst) X Mandolin. Tall, very smooth, creamy-textured golden orange self, with just the faintest pink glow in the standards. Tangerine-orange beards. Standards domed, falls slightly flared. Nicely ruffled, with three (or four) branches plus terminal, 7 to 12 buds. Proving to be a good parent in crosses for oranges and yellows. #76-16A. 25.00 |
