'Orange Sorbet' (Lyle Fort, R. 1990). Seedling# 87-38-A. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards pink orange; falls creamy orange; beards tangerine red, large; ruffled, laced; slight fragrance. (Opal Brown seedling# 78-1F1, 'Art Center' sibling x 'Mandolin') X ('Snowy Wonderland' x 'Tut's Gold'). Fort Iris 1991.

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing Orange Sorbet (Fort '91) TB, 36 inches, Mid. Season, 8-10 buds, EC, Seedling No.: 87-38-A. This tasteful, clean, bitone is a subtle mixture of pink orange standards over creamy orange falls. Standards are laced and nicely ruffled, falls are large, round, ruffled, and slightly laced; large tangerine red beards. $25. Fort Iris Gardens.
