'Orange Honey' (Lloyd Zurbrigg, R. 1976) Seedling# 68-81-MZ. TB, height 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom and rebloom (October in Virginia). Apricot self with some blending of yellow at haft; red beard. Seedling# 67-7-HS: ('Bessie B' x 'Deep Dawn') X 'Robert Smithwood'. Avonbank 1976.

From AIS Bulletin #221 April 1976 Introducing ORANGE HONEY. Bright, iridescent orange, blended apricot in falls. Fertile both ways, it is an excellent grower, unlike many oranges. Remontant in early October in Virginia. Beautiful form. $25.00. Avonbank Iris Gardens.
