'Orange Fantasy' (Lyle Blackley, R. 1975). Seedling# 70-01. TB, 33-35" (84-89 cm), Early midseason to midseason late bloom. Standards clean orange-apricot; falls orange-apricot with purplish brown plicata markings on haft and around edge, center striated rose-violet; tangerine beard. Seedling# 64-2: (involving 'Can-Can', 'Pink Formal', 'Surrender', 'Butterhorn') X 'Waymark'. Come 'N' Look 1976.

From AIS Bulletin #223 October 1976 Introducing ORANGE FANTASY (Blackley '76). ("Gadabout" from involved plicatapink lines X Waymark). An orange Fancy-plicata. Closed, clean orange S. and self-colored F. with plicata stitching at hafts and part way down F., which are washed and/or striated in light violet, with no lighter area in center. Flaring F. with bright tangerine beard. Perhaps an entirely new pattern. $30.00. Come 'N' Look Gardens.
