'Orange Empire' (Bernard Hamner, R. 1973). Seedling# 69-40. TB, 37" (94 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Brilliant orange self; saturn red beard; ruffled. (Sexton seedling x 'China Gate') X ('China Gate' seedling x 'Olé'). Hamner 1974. Honorable Mention 1975; Award of Merit 1980.
