'Orange Burst' (George Shoop, R. 1984). Seedling# 79-26. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Bright orange; ruffled, flaring falls; tangerine beard; slight spicy fragrance. 'China Dragon' X (seedling# 72-18 x 'Queen Of Hearts'). Shoop 1984. Favorite Guest 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing ORANGE BURST (Shoop '84) TB, 36", early to midseason. Bright orange self. Ruffled, flaring falls; closed standards. Tangerine beards. Well branched stalks and good increase. Sdlg. 79·26: China Dragon X (72-18 x Queen of Hearts). $25.00. George Shoop.
