From Longfield Iris Farms catalog, 1956: ON STAGE (Lapham No. 25-53). (Paradise Pink X CB 1 (Melitza-Spindrift X Forerunner) ). A glowing light golden apricot flushed pink with no markings to mar its clean satiny finish. The beards are light tangerine. An Iris of excellent quality: fine form, heavy substance, good size, strong well branched stems, and sturdy growth. 36 inches. $15.00. |
