■(TB) 'Old Time Religion'

1989, Tompkins

'Old Time Religion' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1989) Seedling# 84-42. TB, 35" (89 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards blend of malacca tan, champagne and honey beige; falls lighter with lilac overtone, paling toward gilt and beige edge; lilac and gold beard. 'Wayward Angel' X (('Cosmopolitan' sibling x 'Color Rich') x ('Oddball' x ( 'Lovely Light' x 'Cosmopolitan' sibling))). Fleur de Lis 1989.

  • TB 'Old Time Religion' bloomed at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately June 3-13, in 2017. Although I didn't see any purple based foliage at the base of the leaves, 'Old Time Religion' did have a very faint staining of purple (or pink) coloring on its spathes. -- HollyJohnson2017-04-01 - 19 Sep 2017
