1994, Burch

'Old Money' (James Burch, R. 1994). Seedling# 48-7. TB, 33" (84 cm). Early midseason bloom. Yellow gold (RHS 14B) with currant red (46A) flecks at base of falls; beards darker yellow orange (17A). Seedling# 45-4: ('Echo Madrid' x 'Seven Hills') X 'Bama Berry'. Burch Iris, Comanche Acres 1994.

From AIS Bulletin #293 April 1994 Introducing OLD MONEY (TB) Gold self that has brown hafts and red flecks on falls. Falls are almost flared and quite ruffled. Standards are slightly domed. The 4 branches are an S-shaped candelabra with 7 buds. $30.00. Burch Iris Garden.
