From Southern Meadows catalog,1966: OKAW GOLD (J. Tucker '66) EML 33" (Mary Randall x Constant Comment) X (Caribou Trail). A large heavily substanced deep burnished gold self. Standards are domed and ruffled, Falls are extremely broad, held well up, ruffled with green gold veining adding personality, The large beard is bright orange. Form is distinct and appealing. Flower is glistny and attractive. Plant is vigorous producing many bloomstalks with well arranged buds. Fertile both ways; will produce pinks, bronzes, rusts and yellows. $25.00 |
