1979, Wirz

'Noldi' (Albert Wirz, R. 1979). TB, 28-29" (71-74 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards ruffled yellow-orange (RHS 17C); falls same with brown overlay of radial striations, concentrating to maroon effect near tip, bright yellow border; golden orange beard. Seedling# 73-1(AB): ('Rainbow Gold' x 'Gay Lights') X seedling# 73-2(CD): ('Rainbow Gold' x 'Gay Lights').
