'Noble Gentry' (Eleanor Kegerise, R. 1982) Seedling# 116-77-1. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled pansy purple; blue beard, white in throat; slight sweet fragrance. 'Mary Paschal' X 'Navy Strut'. Eleanor Kegerise 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing NOBLE GENTRY-TB, 35", M-L. $25.00. A beautifully ruffled pansy purple self. Blue beards blend to white in throat. Flowers are large and of good substance with nicely closed standards and semi-flaring falls. Well- branched show stalks. Excellent plant habits. 8 buds. Both pod and pollen fertile. Sdlg. 116-77-1.
