'Frosted Starlight'. Ghio 1964. Honorable Mention 1966.
NINA'S DELIGHT (Ghio '64) This serrated beauty is a self of pearly white complete with bluish beard. The blossoms are wide and heavily substanced. The falls are nearly horizontally with the entire flower shimmering with the typical ruffling characteristic of the offspring of Frosted Starlight. An added feature is that the petal edges are serrated and appear as if cut with pinking shears. NINA'S DELIGHT is widely branched which makes it an ideal show specimen, (Gaulter's (Violet Harmony x Mary McClellan) X Frosted Starlight). $20.00. (Bay View, 1965).
