'Night Spot' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1949). TB, 40” (102 cm), Late bloom. Color Class-R7D, Black-purple bicolor; falls velvety, flaring. 'Storm King' x 'Prince Valiant'. Tell 1949.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: NIGHT SPOT (Muhl. 1949) M. L. 38 in. (Storm King x Prince Valiant). Tall bitone iris of dark purplish black with flaring horizontal form. Said to be a fine parent. 1.50.
