From Movilla Gardens catalog, 1921: NEPTUNE. (Yeld 1916.) A. M., R. H. S. S. bright, pale blue; F. dark purple blue with shading. Tall branched habit. Splendid flower, and like all of Mr. Yeld's varieties, strong and vigorous.
